You can rest assured that placing your order online with us is completely safe. We take credit card fraud very seriously and utilize a very strict verification system requiring an exact billing address, full name as it appears on your card, and CVV code to match what's on file with your cards issuing bank. If it doesn't than we will not approve the transaction. If the transaction appears to be fraudulent we will notify the cards issuing bank. The DistinctiveFabric.com checkout process at secure.distinctivefabric.com, uses SSL encryption to guarantee that your personal information cannot be stolen during transmission. Our website is certified via a DigiCert SSL Certificate; it can be viewed at checkout by clicking on the padlock image in the upper right-hand corner of your browser or on the DigiCert image logo in the bottom left-hand corner. Our website and database were developed by some of the top security experts in the nation.
Ok, so shopping is totally safe and fast - but what if you don't like the fabric after receiving it? We provide tons of information and great photos for every fabric, but sometimes it's just not what you were expecting. No problem! Our generous return policy lets you return for an exchange or a complete refund. How can we offer this, you might wonder?
Well, we have very few returns - everyone always loves their fabric! :)
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase but if for any reason you are unhappy with part or all of your order, just ship the qualifying return back to us within30 days of the delivery date. We ask that you tell us why you were unsatisfied so we can do better in the future!
Damaged, flawed and incorrect pattern/color/yardage must be reported within 72 hours. We regret that we will not be able to honor returns or exchanges for fabric not inspected within this timeframe.
Qualifying refunds are processed around the 7th and 21st of each month and credited to the credit card or PayPal account used for the original purchase. Original shipping charges will only be refunded if you return the entire order.
- Qualifying returns include uncut, unused fabric in salable condition purchased from our in stock inventory.
- Swatches, special orders, remnants, clearance and wholesale items are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged - NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Items returned in any condition less than that which was shipped will incur a 20% return stocking fee. Examples include: rolled fabrics returned folded, wrinkled; fabrics with stains not included within reason for return; overly perfumed/scented fabrics; please do not expose fabrics to smoke, scented rooms, etc.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
